Cochrane Reviews explore the evidence for and against the effectiveness and appropriateness of treatments (medications, surgery, education, etc.) in specific circumstances. They are published as part of the Cochrane Library, which is produced by the Cochrane Collaboration and published by Wiley-Blackwell. The Reviews are published monthly online and are updated whenever new evidence becomes available, in order to maintain their currency.
