RACS Annual Scientific Congress

The Annual Scientific Congress (ASC) is the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ annual multi-disciplinary surgical meeting. The first annual surgical meeting was held in Canberra in 1928. It rapidly gained support. In 1936, Sir Hugh Devine wrote about its importance for the surgical community in Australia and New Zealand.

The Journal publishes the ASC abstracts as a supplement in May of each year.
